Achieving Anything in Life with Self-Suggestion

  12/09/2021

Your intellect is the most underused instrument at your disposal. You can have whatever you desire if you can align your thoughts with your objectives. According to the famous book “Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill”, self-suggestion is one way for using your mind (or more precisely your subconscious mind) to your benefit.

The majority of successful people have employed self-suggestion strategies to achieve their goals in life. They’ve prepped their minds and made them work for them in order to make their aspirations a reality. Some of them took use of self-suggestion without even realizing it. They understood what they desire and regularly reminded themselves of their objectives. They would not accept anything less. Their brains were in tune with their aims, which enabled them to labor tirelessly toward those goals.

You frequently can’t do something because you know deep down inside that you don’t want to do it. Or your mind, for whatever reason, cannot tolerate you doing it. However, if you can persuade your mind to believe in what you desire, you will have no trouble completing the assignment.

No work is too large, and no goals are too lofty, when your mind believes it is achievable and hence refuses to accept anything less. This is exactly what happens with self-suggestion. You shape your thinking to help you achieve your goals. So what is self-suggestion really?

Self-suggestion is the deliberate feeding of any notion to your subconscious mind. Sometimes the terms self-suggestion and auto-suggestion are used interchangeably. But there is a distinction. Auto-suggestion occurs when your subconscious mind repeatedly suggests something to you, regardless of whatever it is healthy for you. Self-suggestion can be effective in any case. You have the option of using either positive or negative self-suggestion. You can employ it to your advantage or disadvantage. It all depends on how you wan to use it, or if you intend to use it at all.

The majority of us employ self-suggestion without even realizing it. However, the majority of them are negative self-suggestions. Negative notions are frequently fed into our minds. Remember, what your mind believes determines who you are. If you believe anything, regardless of whether it is real or not, your mind will begin to believe in it, and you will experience the same consequence that you predicted. Everything you do and everything that happens to you is powered by untapped energy of your mind. What you want is what you will receive. The more your mind believes in something the easier it is to do.

Self-suggestions work if you employ them on a regular basis. Every day, tell yourself the same thing. Say that with conviction. Say it as though you were certain it was true. Say it as though you believed in it, even if it doesn’t seem possible right now. Self-suggestion works best when you have specific goals in mind. Knowing what you want and when you want it is essential. Be explicit when employing self-suggestion. The more particular that you are, the more effective you will be.
