Are You Split Testing?
03/02/2018
Every Digital Marketer should implement split testing into their email marketing campaigns. An email sent without a split test is a wasted opportunity to improve your future campaigns. A split test, also known as an A/B test, allows you to give some of your customers one experience, while providing the rest of your customers an entirely different experience. You can split test anything from the color of a button to the layout of a page. When performing a split test, be sure that your customers are split in a truly random way so that when you get your results, you are not making inferences that are biased. Accurate email marketing tools will allow you to split your traffic between two landing pages or randomly split your email blast between two different email creatives.
